There's a sweet red fruit smell in the dry fragrance that also sees a clean, brown sugar sweetness folded in. At medium roast, the stage is set for a complex cup profile, and the wet aroma further confirms this with stronger fruit smells like fruit reductions with dark sugars. There's a noticeable citrus note at City that has flavor elements of both lemon and orange, but without the accompanying bite that comes with the real thing. Instead, they're buttressed against flavor aspects of dark brown sugar like panela, and with a slight caramelizing/cooked feature. As the cup cools off, Ichamama's fruited side is grows, and a cranberry sauce flavor comes through, replete with orangey accents, and a cinnamon stick note marking the finish.
