Product Description

Bittersweet smells set the tone in the dry fragrance of this decaf, that find a nice interplay of toasted sugar and unsweetened cocoa powder. The aroma has an umami-like savory quality, roasted corn and toasted grain come to mind, with a whole lot of cocoa in the steam. The cup flavors follow suit, with a rich, bittersweet cocoa powder flavor tied up with brown sugar hints, and a roasted wheat berry note. The kind of dark cacao core bitterness melts away as the coffee cools, ushering in a dark caramel sweetness. Our roast balances core coffee flavors and makes a fine espresso option too.
