Press Pot, or French Press, is a thicker or heavier cup of coffee. It bursts with flavor since all the oils from the extracting coffee grounds ends up in your cup. This is my personal favorite way to brew coffee.
you can brew various amounts of coffee with a press pot method. Decide between one of these alternatives so you know how much water and grounds you need to prepare:
Make sure your particular press can hold that much water before you begin.
Now that we've gathered all we need, let's starting brewing! Follow these steps:
Fill your kettle with water and boil.
Grind the necessary amount of coffee beans based on the chart above. Put the ground into the press pot and place the pot on your scale. Tare your scale to ZERO.
Pour boiled water into the press pot until your scale reaches the specified mass of water in the chart above. You can turn off your scale.
Stir with a wooden spoon or spatula. Give it one or two rotations.
Set a timer for four minutes. Let the coffee brew.
When the timer concludes, stir again. Then place the press lid on top and slowly press the plunger down until all the grounds are tightly pressed to the bottom.
Decant the brew into your cup or an insulated vessel.
